Dodgers outfielder Juan Pierre has been granted permission to contact teams about a possible trade. The 30-year-old Pierre was told he would be the team's fourth outfielder this season. Pierre batted .283 with 1 home run, 28 runs batted in and 40 stolen bases last year with Los Angeles.
