Pirates center fielder Nate McLouth avoided a Tuesday arbitration hearing and agreed to a three-year deal, with a club option for a fourth, worth a guaranteed $14.5 million to remain in Pittsburgh. The contract buys up all three of McLouth's arbitration-eligible seasons and one season of free agency.
