Tampa Bay outfielder Pat Burrell, who spent his first nine seasons in the Majors with the Philadelphia Phillies, took out ads in both The Philadelphia Inquirer and the Daily News to thank the fans for his time there. Burrell signed a two-year, $16 million deal with the Rays in January.
