Detroit sent right-handed pitcher Rudy Darrow to Atlanta for outfielder Josh Anderson. Anderson, 26, batted .294 with 3 home runs, 12 runs batted in and 10 stolen bases in 40 games for the Braves last season. Darrow, 24, is 9-6 with a 2.52 ERA in three Minor League seasons.

Philadelphia traded catcher Ronny Paulino to San Francisco for lefty reliever Jack Taschner. Taschner was 3-2 with a 4.88 ERA last season with the Giants. The Phillies acquired Paulino in a trade from the Pittsburgh Pirates in December. Paulino batted .212 with 2 home runs and 18 runs batted in last season for the Bucs.AP Continue Reading
