Yanks' Nady A Scratch For Wednesday
Yankees right fielder Xavier Nady was scratched from Wednesday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies with a sore left elbow.  Nady was hit by a pitch in the sixth inning of Tuesday's game against the Cincinnati Reds.

Yanks To Go With Gardner in Center
Yankees manager Joe Girardi named Brett Gardner as the team's starting center fielder on Sunday.  Gardner was battling Melky Cabrera for the job.

Jeter OK After Collision
Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter bruised the knuckle on his left pinkie Saturday after colliding with Atlanta Braves first baseman Greg Norton.  The injury is not considered serious and manager Joe Girardi said Jeter is expected to play on Sunday.

Yanks Name Sabathia Opening Day Starter
Manager Joe Girardi named left-handed pitcher CC Sabathia as the team's starter for Opening Day at the Baltimore Orioles.  Sabathia will also pitch the Bombers' home opener April 16 against the Cleveland Indians at the new Yankee Stadium.
